Position Summary:
Skills Check-Off for hands-on nursing courses. Adjuncts who perform Clinical Skills Checkoffs are observing students practice nursing skills, and helping ensure that they are using proper technique, body mechanics, and addressing areas of concern.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Observing students
- Offering help on techniques and skills when needed
- Supporting the learning environment during nursing skills lab courses.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS/CPR Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Four years related experience of which at least one year of teaching, preferably in a community college setting.
