Test Engineer

* The Opportunity:

** Assemble and fabricate electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. Operate mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Contribute new knowledge to programs or projects. Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and specific technical aspects of the job to complete varied and complex work. Make recommendations for new procedures. Work independently within established procedures and practices.

Lead tasks and informally mentor others.
** You Have:
*** Experience as an electrical 120 Volt single phase power technician
* Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic system malfunctions and failures
* Experience in soldering and printed circuit card rework
* Knowledge of electrical safety, including following established safety practices and requirements
* Ability to read schematics
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope, voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, and frequency generator
* Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
* HS diploma or GED
** Nice If You Have:
*** Experience with technical writing
* Ability to pay strict attention to detail
* Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
* Electronics Technician Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
