RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Position requires 8-10 days per month

• On-call requirement of 1-2 weekends per month

• No floating required between locations

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

• BLS Certification from AHA required

• Must coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served

• Ensure quality care is provided in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards

• Demonstrate performance consistent with mission, philosophy and goals of organization

• Work in blood borne pathogen C environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays

• Must handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking

• Requires heavy physical effort to position, push and transfer patients or equipment

• Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required

• Must communicate clearly and be knowledgeable about patients' rights

• Subject to varied working hours with flexibility for unexpected schedule changes
