* Position Summary:

** As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in analyzing specimens and ensuring the highest quality of laboratory services. Your expertise will enable clinicians to make accurate patient assessments.

* Key Responsibilities:

** - Analyze specimens according to established procedures and policies - Ensure the appropriateness of samples and apply test procedures accurately - Confirm unusual results and review all results in accordance with laboratory policy - Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to support patient care

* Minimum Qualifications:

* Education:

** Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- ** Certification/License:
** CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent required
- *
* Experience:

** Prefer one year of general laboratory experience

* Skills:

** - Proficient in reading and writing English for effective communication - Strong operation skills with laboratory equipment
** Supervision:** - Responsible to:
Laboratory Director
** Work Environment:** - Routine exposure to blood borne pathogens and potentially infectious materials - Required to wear gloves, laboratory coat, facemask, and goggles - Exposure to hazardous chemicals, sharp objects, and infectious specimens

** - May require working beyond standard shift hours based on workload - Ability to stand, sit, or move for the entire assigned shift - Capability to move laboratory supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
