Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active NM or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,

• 13-week contract,

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a regional medical center,

• On-call requirement of 1-2 weekends per month, with approximately 8-10 on-call days per month,

• No floating required,

Job Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required,

• BLS certification from the AHA required,

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program,

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

• SSN required for consideration,

• Current, non-expired copies of all certifications required for consideration,

• 2 professional references required for consideration,

• Must be able to perform prolonged standing and walking, heavy patient positioning and transfers, and frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching,

• Visual and hearing acuity within normal or correctable limits; manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required,

Additional Information

• Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the Cardiac Cath Lab patient population, ensuring quality, safe, and efficient care consistent with unit standards,

• Works in an environment with exposure to blood borne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays,

• Role reports to the Patient Care Director or Manager,

• Schedule may be subject to change due to emergencies or unexpected needs,
