Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Weekend requirement:
Yes

• On-call requirement: 10/12 days per month including weekend coverage

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians

• Provide patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by Radiologist/Cardiologist

• One year radiologic experience required and one year interventional or cath lab experience preferred

• Required certifications: ARRT and New Mexico State licensure, ACLS certification from AHA, BLS certification from AHA

• Must obtain certification issued by ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS Certification

• Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology required

• Must have knowledge of radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills

• Ability to lift, position, push and transfer patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs

• Exposure to blood borne pathogens, various body fluids and ionizing radiation

• Flexible schedule required due to unexpected changes and emergencies

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited radiologic technology program required
