Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Weekend requirement applies

• On-call requirement: 10/12 days per month including weekends

• Rate: $100 per hour

• One year radiologic experience required

• One year interventional or cath lab experience preferred

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians

• Provide patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation

• Must have thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology

• Ability to lift, position, push and transfer patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs

• Required certifications: ARRT and New Mexico State licensure, BLS certification (AHA), ACLS certification (AHA)

• Must hold certification issued by ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program required

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English

• Work involves exposure to blood borne pathogens, various body fluids, and ionizing radiation

This regional medical center operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiology services. The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support complex cardiac procedures and patient care. The cardiac cath lab department works closely with cardiologists and radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and interventional treatments in a clean, well-maintained healthcare environment.
