Clinical Laboratory Scientist - DAYS and Make a Difference in Patient Care Are you a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist eager to advance your career while enjoying an attractive schedule? We are seeking a skilled professional to fill our Travel: CLS - DAYS position, providing high-quality laboratory testing services essential for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contribute to vital healthcare operations, and experience the flexibility of travel assignments.
Required Skills:
Valid CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent medical technologist certification Meet CLIA 88 requirements for high-complexity testing Bachelor s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field At least one year of general laboratory experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Proficient operation of laboratory equipment Ability to analyze specimens accurately and promptly Effective problem-solving skills for unusual or unexpected results Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with a variety of laboratory instruments and methodologies Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) Ability to adapt to different testing environments Prior travel laboratory experience Preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent One or more years of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing environments Relevant certification (CLS or MT certification recognized by boards such as NCA or ASCP) Other Requirements:
Flexible schedule working Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Willingness to travel and potentially adjust schedules based on workload Saturday work required; on-call and floating assignments may be necessary Commitment to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear due to routine exposure to biohazards and chemicals Ability to work extended hours if needed This position offers an hourly pay rate of $42.90, along with competitive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
