RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Start as soon as possible

• 2+ years of nursing experience required

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

• BLS Certification required

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served

• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner

• Work with patients of all ages requiring medical-surgical care

• Communicate clearly and appropriately to the developmental age of patients

• Must be able to handle emergency/crisis situations

• Requires prolonged standing, walking, and heavy physical effort to position, push, and transfer patients

• Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays in healthcare environment

• Must demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice

• Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies
