* Minimum Qualifications:

* Education:
** Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- ** Certification/License:
** CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification required.
- Must meet CLIA ’88 requirements for performing high complexity testing.

* Skills Required:
** - Proficient in reading and writing English.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong operational skills with laboratory equipment.
** Experience Preferred:** - At least one year of general laboratory experience.
** Nature of Supervision:** - Responsible to the Laboratory Director.
** Work Environment:** - Routine exposure risk to blood borne pathogens.
- Expected to wear necessary protective gear (gloves, lab coat, facemask, goggles).
- Exposure to various materials including carcinogenic, hazardous, and biohazardous substances.

** - Ability to stand, sit, and ambulate for the entire shift.
- Capability to move laboratory supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
