Job Title: Travel RN Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift/

Schedule:

Night Shift | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

No blocked scheduling or set schedule

• Coordinate and implement patient care appropriate to patient age and condition
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and reassessments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Document care and interventions accurately and timely
• Perform point-of-care testing as required
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate unit assignments effectively
• Support orientation and mentoring of new staff and students
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and collaborative work environment
• Follow chain of command for issue resolution
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Assist with special projects and unit-based initiatives as assigned

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Active New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Physically able to handle prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and patient transfers
• Ability to work in high-stress and fast-paced clinical environments

• ACLS certification (optional)
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
