Activity Description – Assessment

We are seeking a senior degree device administrator. The gadget administrator is responsible for assisting, configuring, preserving, and operating the hardware and software infrastructure. This includes working with Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on groups, Microsoft 365 Hybrid, and Microsoft licensing. Active Directory experience is required. Control Engine products experience is a plus.

Primary Functions /

Job Description
  • Machine administrator accountable for server environment.
  • Work and communicate with multiple groups to resolve issues and analyze problems.
  • Maintain, upgrade, construct, and implement all components of Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Discover, outline, construct, and recommend enhancements to existing M365 environments.
  • Operate, support, and administer mail gateway and spam filtering technologies.
  • Install and configure new servers based on requirements and operational necessities.
  • Maintain, configure, display, tune, and troubleshoot server hardware and software.
  • Develop, maintain, and contribute to setup and configuration documentation.
  • Manage user licenses and access to systems.
  • Control ticketing and problem dispatch to the device administrator queue.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Activity Description – Necessities Favored Competencies
  • Enjoy growing, leading, enforcing, and deploying IT projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting, design, deployment, and migration skills.
  • Experience with domain administration, GPOs, mail gateways, and anti-spam filtering.
  • Familiarity with SMTP, MX records, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP(S), SSL, and related protocols.
  • Experience with virtualization technology.
  • Professional knowledge of Windows Server ) infrastructure.
  • Professional knowledge of Windows client platforms (Win7 – Win
    10 32/64‑bit).
  • Basic expertise in audio/video systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Manage Engine product suite is a plus.
Requirements
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and Azure.
  • Ability to work in a group environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years IT experience, preferably in O365 and system administration roles.
  • Minimum of three years in an Office 365 Administrator position.
  • Problem troubleshooting and fixing capability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to learn new tools and competencies quickly.
