- Investigate and adjust high exposure workers' compensation claims
- Analyze coverage, determine compensability, and establish benefits
- Negotiate settlements and establish reserves for claims
- Conduct meetings via phone with insureds and claimants
- Prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences
- Minimum of 7 years of proven success in California workers' compensation claims adjusting, with a preference for 10+ years
- Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Industry designations such as Associate in Claims are highly regarded
- Exceptional candidates with significant experience in higher exposure claims adjusting
- Proven track record of successful claims resolution strategies
- Familiarity with various internal and external contacts in the insurance industry
