Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Materials Management Technician to support and enhance department processes. In this role, you will provide excellent service, oversee inventory control, and act as a knowledge resource for your peers. Key responsibilities include managing par carts, point-of-use systems, receiving and re-ordering supplies, verifying data accuracy, and troubleshooting critical supply chain issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embody the core organizational competencies of self-leadership and team collaboration.
  • Execute standard Materials Management Technician operational tasks.
  • Master relevant supply chain modules (e.g., Par Specialist, Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, Warehouse Clerk, Mobile Supply Chain Management).
  • Collaborate with all supply chain stakeholders, including procurement, accounts payable, and vendor representatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of reorders and inventory adjustments.
  • Coordinate with leadership, supply chain staff, and clinical teams to determine appropriate product substitutions.
  • Assist with the rollout of Contract Launch Packets by verifying process steps.
  • Adjust par items and inventory levels as directed by management.

    Provide high-level product knowledge support to clinical and materials staff.
  • Communicate operational changes effectively to stakeholders and staff.
  • Operate efficiently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 2–3 years of relevant work experience recommended.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard Materials Management Applications.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of demonstrated computer systems experience.
  • 1+ year of direct supply chain or inventory database management experience.
  • Familiarity with medical products, equipment, and hospital supply chain environments.
