At Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Retail Regional Manager at our Santa Fe, NM location.
Description:The Retail Regional Manager will work directly with the Managing Director of Retail to be a strategic partner in developing Sunflower Bank's sales program. This position will work diligently to constantly improve the customer experience while also developing their retail sales teams by training and coaching the staff to reach organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:- Develops a cohesive retail team that is aligned with the Bank's strategic plan and core values
- In conjunction with Branch Management teams, sets daily and weekly sales plans for the branch and individual sales staff
- Reports sales and performance results weekly to Senior Retail Management
- Supports, mentors, and coaches Sales Team
- Assists Branch Management in setting sales goals and ensures accountability for their sales and referral performance
- Develops and prepares branch staff for advancement within the organization
- Ensures operational and audit compliance and readiness
- Plans and facilitates weekly retail regional sales meetings to discuss sales and referral results
- Monitors weekly tracking of branch sales programs
- Assists in implementation of calling program, new account follow-up and prospecting opportunities
- Works closely with Retail Operations Group to improve efficiency/accuracy of processes and procedures.
- Maximizes use of time/resources using distance management to effectively lead regions.
- Maintains thorough product knowledge of all retail products throughout the markets
- Assists with new product development
- Assists with creation of marketing strategy and execution
- Provides staff training, role-playing, and sales collateral surrounding product knowledge, sales, referral, and customer service
- Conducts on-going retail sales training with the Branch Managers
- Assists in interviewing new prospective sales staff
- College Degree;
Business preferred or equivalent banking experience.
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
Working ConditionsThe physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work-related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
