Program Manager, Fugitive Data Analyst

The State of New Mexico is seeking a Program Manager, Fugitive Data Analyst based in Santa Fe, NM, to oversee operations that locate and return probationers, parolees, or escapees who abscond from community supervision under the New Mexico Corrections Department. In this onsite role, you will provide leadership to Probation and Parole Officers, coordinate with law enforcement for public safety, and ensure accurate data tracking and secure recordkeeping aligned with court orders and department policies.

• Coordinate with Probation and Parole Officers and law enforcement officers to apprehend absconders throughout New Mexico
• Direct daily activities of recovery or fugitive tracking units focused on locating and apprehending supervision violators
• Use computer databases, internet search engines, and social media, along with interviews, informants, and other investigative methods, to develop intelligence on absconders’ whereabouts
• Network with city, county, state, and federal law enforcement officers to improve the likelihood of apprehension
• Provide oversight and leadership to Probation and Parole Officers while coordinating with local law enforcement agencies to support public safety and facilitate return of offenders into custody and/or supervision with the New Mexico Corrections Department
• Track data, maintain secure records, and ensure adherence to court orders and department policies

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university
• Four (4) years of professional level experience with tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position at the time of recruitment
• Any combination of education and/or direct experience in a related field totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience
• Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver’s License
• Pre-employment background check is required and conditional pending results
• Employment is subject to pre-employment and random testing in accordance with applicable Federal and State law, rules, and regulations related to alcohol and/or drug testing
• Position is designated safety sensitive

• Work is performed in an adult prison environment and in field settings, including daily contact with and supervision of adult offenders and/or inmates
• May require odd hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends
