PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS 40 MINUTES SW OF SANTA FE.

Viridian Staffing's () Client is looking for Temporary Harvest Techs to help with on-site harvests for a greenhouse Cannabis operation during a very busy season about 40 minutes outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Hours are 5 am - 1:30 pm for five days. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential to be invited back for future harvests every 7-9 weeks.

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

Your duties will include but are not limited to defanning leaves, cutdown, breakdown of individual stalks, trimming, processing, cleaning, disposal of post-harvest waste, weighing of cannabis, deep cleaning of machinery, and even refilling facility with new plants. While experience is not required, you must be willing and able to learn quickly. 6+ months of experience is preferred.

You bring with you the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. You are known for your effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task, and are always able to arrive on time and willing to give 100%. This position is in a greenhouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable performing the requirements of this position in up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

You also have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist and lift plants and equipment up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with your hands
• Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures (there will be some work in a greenhouse with temperatures up to 105 degrees)
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to take direction
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
• Ability to arrive on time (Shifts usually start at 5 am)
• Horticulture degree or experience in horticulture preferred
• Ability to work for a licensed cannabis operation in the State of New Mexico, which includes being at least 21 years of age

Pay $15/hour
