Robot Operator (No Experience Required)

Location:

San Jose, CA

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Robot Operator to work hands‑on with cutting‑edge humanoid robots in a fast‑paced AI and robotics environment. In this role, you’ll execute test scenarios, document results, identify issues, and support engineers in improving next‑generation robotic technology. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in one of the most exciting and rapidly growing industries while contributing directly to the development of advanced humanoid robots.

What

You’ll Do
  • Operate humanoid robots through predefined test procedures.
  • Execute tests using simple controls, software interfaces, and test equipment.
  • Accurately document test results, observations, and system performance.
  • Identify and report issues, anomalies, and unexpected robot behavior.
  • Communicate findings to engineering teams.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized lab environment.
  • Support basic troubleshooting and test validation activities.
  • Manage test data and reports using computer‑based tools.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a production, testing, lab, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred
  • Experience as a Test Technician, Production Operator, Lab Technician, Quality Inspector, or related role.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, hardware testing, or computer systems.
  • Interest in robotics, automation, or emerging technologies.

This role is based in a production and laboratory setting and involves hands‑on testing, observation, documentation, and repetitive test execution. Success in this position requires focus, consistency, and a passion for technology.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
