The PA facilitator guides 12-15 high school aged young women through a 6 month leadership training program focused on peace building through the lens of the Israeli and Palestinian conflict.
Key responsibilities include recruitment, coordinating the program schedule with TW staff, facilitating workshops, and helping participants to design and implement a community based creative project.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, and comfort leading and collaborating with teenagers
- Experience in youth development and/or community organizing
- Organized with a strong ability to multitask
- Familiarity with conflict resolution, compassionate dialogue, and/or person-to-person diplomacy
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and a commitment to engaging with multiple narratives with curiosity and openness.
Ability to be in the Santa Fe area regularly a requirement.
