Position Summary

The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating outreach strategies that build and sustain a pipeline of prospective students and contribute to the College’s enrollment goals. This position cultivates and maintains strategic partnerships with community organizations, schools, and agencies to support long- term student engagement and enrollment pathways. Working collaboratively with Recruitment, Dual Credit, and Marketing & Public Relations (MPR), this role ensures outreach efforts are aligned with institutional priorities and result in measurable engagement, applications, and enrollment outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate outreach strategies that build and sustain a pipeline of prospective students.
  • Translate outreach efforts into measurable engagement and enrollment outcomes.
  • Identify and engage target populations and geographic areas to increase awareness, access, and enrollment.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, schools, and agencies.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track outreach, monitor engagement, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts with Recruitment, Dual Credit, and MPR.
  • Deliver presentations and programming that generate interest and lead to applications.
  • Provide pre-enrollment guidance to move students from interest to enrollment.
  • Analyze outreach effectiveness using data and recommend improvements.
  • Support Dual Credit outreach efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Three years job related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Experience with database and/or customer relationship management.
  • Experience in Higher Education.
  • Experience in Student Recruitment.

Work Hours

This position is located at Santa Fe Community College. Typically, 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. May be required to work after hours and/or weekends.
