We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in wound care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and the expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat complex wound issues. This role involves working closely with patients to develop individualized care plans, provide education about wound management, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with acute and chronic wounds.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to promote healing.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care management, including proper dressing techniques and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in wound care and integrate them into practice as appropriate.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of wound care protocols.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in NM
  • Certification in Wound Care is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
