Director of Nursing - LPN or RN

Salary: $87,000 - $95,000, annually.

Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000.

• Provide nursing care to residents, including health assessments, completion of resident Care Plans, reviewing them with resident family members and/or Power of Attorney, discussing changes in resident condition with physicians, introducing interventions to reduce falls based on individual resident needs, etc. Also provide medication administration and help with resident care as needed.
• Accountable for timely assessments and accurate care plans in the electronic health record, and for communication with the Business Office Manager for accurate resident billing.
• Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Work on‑call for any shift as needed.

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) preferred, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (Texas) subject to state requirements.
• Current nursing license for the state where the community is located.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Gerontology preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience.
• Experience in community, acute, skilled, or long‑term care settings, with geriatric assessment skills and knowledge of geriatric and dementia care.
• Ability to train staff and to assess and implement systems; organized and self‑directed.
• Meet the State‑specific qualifications and training for the position.
• Basic computer skills – login/logoff, e‑mail, documents, spreadsheets, and data entry.
