Travel Nurse - RN - NICU

Role:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized care to critically ill and premature newborns.

• Assess and monitor neonates, recognizing changes and documenting conditions
• Administer medications and treatments following neonatal nursing protocols
• Operate advanced NICU equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps
• Assist with neonatal procedures like intubation and umbilical line placement
• Educate and support families on neonatal care and developmental needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize neonatal outcomes

• One year of recent NICU experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS and NRP certifications
• Preferred:
  Neonatal ICU Certification (RNC-NIC), PALS or ENPC
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and operate equipment, and sensory acuity
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and follow instructions
