American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Orthopedics Med/Surg night shift position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Acute Orthopedics unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Weekend requirement: 2 to 4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
• On-call is not required but may be requested if census rises
• Float requirement to all Med/Surg departments within the unit's service line
• EMR:
  Epic
• Grey scrubs required
• 13-week contract

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, individualized care planning, documenting interventions, point-of-care testing, and participating in discharge planning
• Delegates and coordinates team assignments while following up on patient care tasks for quality and completeness
• Candidates who have previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility in a non-travel (permanent) capacity must have been separated for at least 6 months prior to being considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local rate; this position does not explicitly state locals are accepted
