American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Acute Physical Rehabilitation (Med/Surg) night shift position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active NM or compact RN license.

• Acute Physical Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Weekend requirement: 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
• On-call is not required but may be requested if census rises
• Required to float to all Med/Surg departments under the same nursing leadership
• EMR:
  Epic
• Grey scrubs required

• Active NM RN license or current compact state license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements timely nursing interventions
• Conducts Point of Care testing procedures
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Delegates and coordinates team assignments based on patient and unit needs
• Participates in orientation of new staff and students on the unit
• Candidates who have previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility in a non-travel capacity must have been separated for at least 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment — this applies across the entire CHRISTUS Health System
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a radius rule; this position does not explicitly state locals are accepted
