American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Med/Surg night shift position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and a NM or compact RN license.
Details- Acute Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend requirement of 2–4 shifts per month, rotated among staff
- On-call is not required but may be requested if census increases
- Float requirement to all Med/Surg departments within the assigned director's scope
- Patient ratio of 1:5–6
- EMR:
Epic - Grey scrubs required
- 13-week contract
- Active NM RN license or current compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Strong knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the patient population served
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement timely, documented nursing interventions
- Coordinate team assignments, delegate appropriately, and participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Travelers who have previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility in a non-travel (permanent) capacity must have a separation of at least 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment — this applies across the entire CHRISTUS Health System
