American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a PACU Days position requiring NM or compact RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Work in the Post Surgical PACU unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule of four 10-hour rotating shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Required to work 2 weekends per month consisting of 12-hour shifts with call (Saturday/Sunday counts as 1 weekend)
• One night of on-call coverage required per week
• Floating required within surgical services
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, developing and adjusting individualized care plans
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform various point of care testing procedures
• Graphite gray scrubs required
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates who previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility must have been separated for at least 6 months prior to consideration
