American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC/ATCN and PALS certification along with New Mexico or compact RN licensure.

• Emergency Care (ECC) department setting within a hospital
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Voluntary on-call requirement
• Floating required to assist as helping hands during low census
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Current New Mexico RN license or compact state license required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• PALS certification from AHA required
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI/De-Escalation certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates outcomes
• Performs various point-of-care testing procedures
• Participates in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Pewter/charcoal grey scrubs required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must be separated for 6 months before starting a travel assignment
