As a veterinarian with our organization, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to a wide range of patients in the comfort of their own homes or in a hospital setting. - Provide veterinary care to small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries
- Conduct examinations, take medical histories, and develop treatment plans for patients
- Perform surgeries, administer medications, and provide after-care instructions to clients
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients and their pets, providing educational resources and support
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine, and participate in continuing education and training
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care and services
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Mexico or willing to acquire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software
- Work in a mobile veterinary clinic, traveling to client's homes or farms to provide care
- Work in our hospital to provide quality medical care
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing
