Assistant Retail Manager

The Assistant Manager is a leadership position for someone who blends confidence with grace, style with substance, and sales with service. This role supports daily operations, leads the sales floor, inspires the team, and helps steward the brand both behind the scenes and in the community.

• Lead by example with confident authority, warmth, and professionalism
• Support hiring efforts, onboarding, and ongoing staff training
• Inspire, motivate, and coach the team to meet sales and service goals
• Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work culture
• Drive sales through elevated, service-based selling and thoughtful upselling
• Build genuine, lasting relationships with customers of all ages
• Represent the brand with elegance, passion, and authenticity
• Deep understanding of the Santa Fe market and our unique customer

• Payroll support
• Daily sales reporting and tracking consignment items in Excel
• Accounts payable support
  
  Inventory management
• Maintain organized digital and physical work spaces

• Contribute creatively to visual merchandising and in-store presentation
• Maintain brand alignment across the sales floor and marketing materials
• Generate marketing assets including emails, posters, and social media graphics
• Support events, pop-ups, and community engagement initiatives
• Proficient in Google Workspace, especially spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets)
• Tech-savvy and comfortable troubleshooting systems
• Shopify experience strongly preferred

• Previous leadership experience (retail or service-based preferred)
• Strong fashion background with knowledge of brands and fabrics
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven
• Emotionally intelligent, trustworthy, discreet, and reliable
• Resourceful problem solver with a proactive mindset
