Sales Associates

Position Type:
Hourly position. Starting at $15.40 per hour.

Part‑time Sales Associate with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while driving strong sales. Responsibilities include engaging customers, maintaining a well‑stocked store floor, and providing seamless checkout experiences.

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, offering recommendations, and engaging in suggestive selling.
• Promote store events, promotions, and special activities.
• Resolve customer concerns, turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management regarding merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Support team and company goals, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices.
• Good communicator with the ability to engage customers.
• Courteous and professional handling of customer interactions and concerns.
• Basic information‑gathering skills for problem solving.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to 5–10 feet height.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Get into kneeling, bending, twisting, and stooping positions in stock room and sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face.
• Move across sales floor assisting customers and to/from stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
