LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an innovative aerospace organization seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support the assembly, integration, and testing of advanced electrical systems. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong electrical harness assembly experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where precision and quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, route, and install electrical harnesses and wiring assemblies.
- Perform crimping, soldering, termination, and connector assembly to industry standards.
- Support the installation and integration of electrical components, circuit boards, and avionics systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Conduct continuity testing, insulation resistance checks, and troubleshooting activities.
- Verify wiring integrity and diagnose electrical issues during assembly and integration.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to support product development and system integration.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in electrical harness assembly, wiring, or a related field.
- Strong experience with crimping, soldering, wire termination, and connector assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cable routing, strain relief, and electrical assembly best practices.
- Experience using hand tools, wire strippers, heat shrink equipment, and torque tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred
- Experience with in aerospace, aviation, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or equivalent.
- Experience utilizing multimeters, continuity testers, and other electrical test equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a research and development environment.
- Familiarity with avionics, aerospace wiring standards, or mission‑critical electrical systems.
