OSP Site Survey / Field Note Technician Santa Fe, NM & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time | Use Your Own Vehicle
We’re looking for a dependable OSP Site Survey / Field Note Technician who thrives in the field and plays a key role in expanding fiber connectivity across Northern New Mexico. If you enjoy being outdoors, meeting customers, solving real-world problems, and delivering high-quality field data, this is a great opportunity.
What You’ll Do:- Conduct on-site surveys and field assessments for potential business customers
- Meet with clients at their locations to understand service needs and evaluate fiber opportunities
- Document existing conditions, identify available equipment, duct space, and pathways for fiber placement
- Take clear photos and detailed field notes for upcoming construction projects
- Prepare and submit organized reports (including pictures) through online systems
- Travel daily throughout Santa Fe and surrounding communities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with communications equipment and telecom infrastructure (preferred but not required)
- Solid computer skills — comfortable creating reports and using online submission tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
- Comfortable working independently outdoors in varying weather and terrain
- Daily variety — every site and customer is different
- Direct impact on expanding high-speed fiber services in the region

This is a field-based role that rewards reliability, professionalism, and pride in quality work. If you have telecom or construction surveying experience, that’s a big plus — but we’re also open to training motivated candidates with strong field and customer-facing skills.
