Line Locator, Senior

• Locates and marks underground facilities to prevent damage
• Documents and completes locate requests using the Ticket Management System
• Maintains accurate records of work performed
• Troubleshoots and investigates mapping records
• Coordinates with team members and contractors on locate requests
• Responds to damage incidents and conducts thorough investigations
• Acquires knowledge of other utility underground and field construction practices
• Maintains and calibrates locating equipment

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• 1 year of experience related to Underground Utility Line Locating and/or Damage Prevention for Line Locator
• 4 years of experience related to Underground Utility Line Locating and/or Damage Prevention for Sr. Line Locator

Demonstrates expertise in Underground Utility Line Locating and Damage Prevention, with a strong focus on accurate documentation, equipment calibration, and effective coordination with team members and contractors. Possesses a solid understanding of utility construction practices and the ability to respond to and investigate damage incidents.
