The Senior Social Services Coordinator will:
- Provide oversight, administration, monitoring, and evaluation of multiple assigned Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) funded programs to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, contractual obligations, and organizational policies;
- Manage program operations, coordinate with contractors and partner agencies, conduct programmatic and fiscal reviews, and provide technical assistance to support effective service delivery;
- Ensure that program objectives are achieved through sound fiscal management, policy implementation, and continuous monitoring of contractor performance.
The Senior Social Services Coordinator is responsible for:
- Coordinating, administering, and monitoring program activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals, contractual obligations, and applicable state and federal regulations;
- Providing administrative review services for multiple service programs or managing a specialized program area;
- Conducting programmatic and fiscal monitoring reviews and audits to assess contractor compliance with contractual requirements, performance standards, and fiscal accountability measures;
- Identifying deficiencies, developing corrective action plans, and following through to ensure timely resolution of compliance concerns;
- Serving as a primary liaison between the agency, contractors, and partner organizations;
- Providing technical assistance, guidance, and support to address operational issues, program requirements, and contract-related concerns;
- Collaborating with local, state, federal, and community partners to facilitate successful program implementation and service delivery;
- Reviewing contractor invoices to ensure they are submitted timely and are accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate documentation;
- Authorizing payments in accordance with contract terms and established fiscal procedures while ensuring responsible stewardship of public funds;
- Maintaining current knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and funding requirements;
- Analyzing regulatory changes and implementing necessary program adjustments to maintain compliance;
- Preparing reports, maintaining program records, participating in meetings and training, and performing other duties as assigned in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.

The Ideal Candidate has:
- Experience with program administration, contract management, and compliance monitoring principles;
- Knowledge of fiscal management, budgeting, invoice review, and auditing practices;
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing public assistance and social service programs;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
- Ability to interpret policies, regulations, contracts, and financial documents;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and partner agencies;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems;
- Familiarity with ASPEN+.
Associate's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Family Studies/Services, Social Sciences, or Human Services and one (1) year of experience as a social work assistant and/or in social or community coordination, working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, and/or behavioral health care.
