Job Description

Located near Rio Rancho, NM, this full-time contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while building collaborative partnerships within school communities.

Bring your expertise to a diverse caseload of 40-50 students, working closely with educators and families to deliver high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultative support. Whether you have your Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), your professional growth will be supported in this dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Current New Mexico state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Valid NMPED Teacher Certification required
  • Open to candidates with CF or CCC credentials
  • Experience or enthusiasm for supporting both elementary and secondary students
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students across various needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho educational evaluations and functional behavior assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
