Intelligent Systems Developer

Requirements

• – We are looking for a candidate with a BS, MS, or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Applied Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
• – We need strong software development experience, including building and supporting production-grade applications.
• – We require excellent Python programming skills and experience working in Linux-based environments.
• – We value familiarity with modern development practices such as version control, testing, and debugging.
• – We prefer experience creating user-facing applications, data visualization tools, APIs, or other production software products.
• – We look for experience integrating software with hardware systems, sensors, or instrumentation platforms.
• – We value exposure to signal processing and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Sci Py, or similar tools.
• – We are seeking someone comfortable working in an early-stage R&D environment where priorities and requirements evolve with the technology.
• – We may require the ability to obtain a security clearance, which can only be granted to U.S. citizens for some roles.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you design, develop, and maintain software applications that support advanced sensing, timing integrity, and imaging technologies. – We will expect you to build software for real-time anomaly detection and signal-integrity monitoring across timing and sensing data streams. – We will have you create data processing pipelines for multimodal sensor systems, combining information from diverse sensing platforms. – We will ask you to integrate machine learning models, software components, and external technologies into broader software ecosystems and operational workflows.
  
  – We will have you design and implement interfaces between sensing hardware, software services, and downstream analytics tools. – We will expect you to collaborate with scientists, engineers, and external partners to turn research ideas into deployable software capabilities. – We will have you contribute to software architecture, technical planning, and product development efforts.

In this in-person role, you will work closely with national laboratory scientists, technology partners, and company leadership to shape foundational software across multiple sensing platforms.
