Driver Shuttle-Valet

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Valid Class D Drivers License to operate a motor vehicle. A driving record will be required at time of application, and it must be approved for the application to be considered for position. The Class D license must be kept in good standing for the duration of employment.
Must undergo a criminal records check and must satisfactorily complete a road driving test with a member of the Security Force.

• Ability to fluently read, write and communicate in English
• Effective human relations skills
• Ability to retain composure under stress
• Able to move quickly but effectively to meet customer care needs
• Ability to maintain driving/sitting position for long periods of time
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary
• Must be able to drive standard transmission vehicle

EXPERIENCE
: 2 years experience providing customer service required. Experience in valet service preferred.

NATURE OF SUPERVISION:

Exposure to various body fluids, infections and contagious diseases.

Appropriate universal precautions protection must be used at all times.

ENVIRONMENT: The Driver will be outdoors for duration of the shift, and may be exposed to inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc.). Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolong sitting. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, etc. (in and out of vehicles). Must be able to be on one’s feet for at least eight hours a day. Running up to 200 yards, 40 times a day or more.
