DescriptionWe are looking for CDL-certified Independent Contractors to provide part-time student transportation services in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. This role is contract-based and perfect for experienced drivers seeking flexible part-time work.
You will be paid only for time spent driving
, and no benefits are included. This is strictly a 1099 contractor position
, not employment.
- Operate a school vehicle in compliance with local and state transportation laws
- Ensure student safety and maintain professional conduct during routes
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report concerns
- Valid New Mexico Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Passenger and school bus endorsements (if applicable)
- Clean driving record
- Successful background check clearance
- Prior school transportation experience preferred
- Contractors will sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
- Must submit a W-9 form
- Paid through Accounts Payable
- Must track and submit time logs for actual hours driven
