Compensation: $30/hour (paid for actual drive time only)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099 – Not an Employee)

We are looking for CDL-certified Independent Contractors to provide part-time student transportation services in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. This role is contract-based and perfect for experienced drivers seeking flexible part-time work.

You will be paid only for time spent driving
, and no benefits are included. This is strictly a 1099 contractor position
, not employment.

• Operate a school vehicle in compliance with local and state transportation laws
• Ensure student safety and maintain professional conduct during routes
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report concerns

• Valid New Mexico Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Passenger and school bus endorsements (if applicable)
• Clean driving record
• Successful background check clearance
• Prior school transportation experience preferred

• Contractors will sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
• Must submit a W-9 form
• Paid through Accounts Payable
• Must track and submit time logs for actual hours driven
