Part‑Time Inbound Warehouse Associate – Amazon
Employer:
Amazon (Hiring Part‑Time in Santa Fe)
Based in:
Santa Fe, NM
Earnings: $19–$22/Hour (approx. $21.6k/Year)
- You will unload pallets of heavy vendor boxes, utilizing safety blades to open freight. You will scan the bulk barcodes, verify the vendor’s shipment accuracy against our internal databases, and transfer the raw items into standardized Amazon yellow totes.
- You will interact with Amazon's proprietary stow algorithms. As robotic drive units bring empty shelving pods to your station, you will scan individual items and strategically place them into specific bins. Balance the pod’s weight distribution and ensure items do not overhang to avoid robotic faults.
- You will serve as the first line of defense against defective inventory. Isolate defective items (e.g., leaking liquids, shattered glass, incorrectly barcoded merchandise) to prevent them from entering the active network.
Inbound operations involve receiving, processing, and categorizing millions of products entering our network. You work in specialized zones known as “Receive” and “Stow,” breaking down massive bulk shipments into individual units and integrating them into the facility’s robotic picking system.
Growth, Development, and BenefitsInbound operations provide an excellent foundation for long‑term logistics careers.
