Position: NM Distribution Clerk  3106

Distribution Clerk

Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM

Location:

Santa Fe, NM 87505

Type:
Onsite – Temp to Perm

Notes:
Requires High School Diploma or G.E.D. State of New Mexico requires fingerprinting for all non‑licensed contractors. Basic computer literacy with ability to learn new software applications. Six months’ experience in Central Supply or medical field preferred.

Schedule:

5 days, 8 hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Possible shift change to 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

Quantity: 4 positions.

EMR: EPIC.

No on call required.

Dress Code:
Business professional, business casual, scrub color; black tops and pants for uniforms. Uniform will be provided.

Qualifications

Basic computer literacy with ability to learn new software applications.

Six months’ experience in Central Supply or medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

Distributes supplies and equipment necessary for the daily operation of the hospital and provides direct support to all hospital units.

Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS

Competencies:

Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.

Inventories and restocks hospital unit supply carts and stations daily in a correct and timely manner.

Fills storeroom requisitions and delivers according to the requisition schedule.

Issues supplies on an as‑needed basis over the counter and distributes departmental special orders.

Enters accurate data into the appropriate computer system, recording daily activity related to replenishment of supplies, storeroom requisitions, and as‑needed supply requests, and applies credits to each department or patient.

Issues and obtains appropriate order information for patient‑care equipment maintained by Distribution Services.

Demonstrates basic knowledge of operation, utilization, and decontamination of equipment using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Demonstrates complete knowledge of assembly, utilization, and decontamination of orthopedic traction equipment.

Assists in the receiving processes as necessary to the overall warehouse operation.
