The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in the full lifecycle development of safety-critical products, from early architecture and design through verification, validation, and sustaining engineering. You’ll serve as a technical contributor and partner across engineering disciplines, helping drive robust, compliant, and manufacturable electronic designs that support R.C. Systems’ expanding global product portfolio.
What You’ll Do- Design and develop mixed-signal electronic circuits (analog and digital)
- Create and maintain schematics using ECAD tools
- Guide and review PCB/PCBA layout, placement, and routing
- Partner closely with firmware engineers on hardware/firmware integration
- Lead designs from concept through bench testing, verification, and validation
- Author and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and ECOs
- Support root cause analysis, quality investigations, and corrective actions
- Participate in cross-functional technical reviews and documentation
- Support multiple development programs concurrently in a fast-growing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- 3+ years designing mixed-signal PCB/PCBA systems
- Strong background in:
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Schematic capture and ECAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, or similar)
- PCB layout guidance and review
- Bench-level and formal verification testing
- Experience with engineering change management and documentation
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Analog circuit design depth
- EMC design and compliance experience
- Experience in regulated industries (industrial safety, medical, automotive, aerospace)
- Wireless and wired communication technologies
- FMEA and risk mitigation techniques
- Full product development lifecycle ownership
- Participation in product road mapping and resource planning
