Blue Horizons is hiring Instructional Aides and SPED Paraprofessionals to support students with special needs in public schools across Santa Maria.

Pay & Schedule- Starting Pay: $19+/hour (based on experience & certifications)
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 5.5–6 hours per day
- Full-Time
- Part-Time
- Substitute
- Long-Term Assignments
Work across multiple public school campuses in Santa Maria
If you are already a Certified Behavioral Technician, please include your BT certificate with your application.

- Support students in classroom learning and activities
- Assist with daily routines and personal care when needed
- Provide tutoring to individuals or small groups
- Monitor student behavior and progress
- Apply de-escalation techniques (training provided)
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom materials
- Supervise students during lunch, playground, or field trips
- Maintain confidentiality and a safe learning environment
- Patient, compassionate individuals who enjoy working with students
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Instructional Aide roles available without BT certification
- Experience with special needs students is a plus but not required
- Must pass TB test
