OverviewOur client is a leading mechanical contractor specializing in design, construction, and service of complex building systems across a wide range of industries. They support projects including commercial offices, healthcare facilities, life sciences, semiconductor and microelectronics, manufacturing, education, data centers, and high-rise residential developments.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex plumbing design-build projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for both the client and internal teams, overseeing estimating, contracts, budgeting, procurement, and project execution while ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing large-scale plumbing projects and a proven ability to build client relationships and drive new business.
Job Duties- Manage plumbing design-build projects from concept engineering and estimating through project completion.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client, field leadership, and internal departments.
- Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and cost control.
- Lead client meetings, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage change orders.
- Coordinate field labor planning and installation sequencing with construction leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, accounting, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Mentor and support the development of Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 5-10+ years of experience in estimating, design, or project management of plumbing projects.
- Experience managing projects ranging from $50K to $100M+.
- Strong financial, organizational, and project leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Salary range: $135,000 – $230,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
