Controller

Our Client is seeking a Controller located in Santa Maria, CA (onsite). They are seeking someone with CPA license, and ideally a mix of public accounting and private industry experience. The following is a list of requirements and job responsibilities for the Controller:

• Oversee the financial operations including Financial statement preparation, analysis, monthly & quarterly reporting, and month end GL Close.
• Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasting, key metrics, and variance analysis.
• Work closely as liaison with external audit firm.
• Strong general ledger month end close for multiple entities.
• Prepare cash flow analysis, P&L forecasts & budgeting.
• Set and comply with US GAAP, internal controls, and policies & procedures.
• Supervise department general accounting department including GL Staff, accounts receivable (AR) & accounts payable (AP).
• Manage all banking and treasury functions.
• The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $110,000 to $135,000 base, plus bonus and strong benefits.
• Strong Excel large ERP systems.
• Any experience with ERP implementation would be strongly desired.

• CPA license is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years related work experience.
• Ideally have public accounting experience in audit, internal controls environment, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience in financial statement preparation.
• Excellent communication and ability to deliver results presentations.
