Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services for meetings, medical appointments, legal hearings, and other interactions involving English and Spanish speakers.
• Ensure clarity and accuracy by applying best practices in interpretation and utilizing appropriate equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards during all assignments.
• Prepare for assignments by familiarizing yourself with specific terminology and the context of interactions.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve language proficiency and understanding of relevant subject matter.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to ensure effective interpretation across different settings.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Prior experience in medical or legal interpretation is preferred.
