Your Impact:

As Director of Technical Service
, you’ll lead Aquafinity’s service division and ensure our field operations run with precision, safety, and efficiency. You’ll oversee technician teams, guide complex installations and service projects, and act as the trusted technical authority for both internal teams and clients.

This is a high-visibility leadership role where your expertise will influence operations, client satisfaction, and the continued growth of Aquafinity’s service organization.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

• Lead, mentor, and develop service technicians across multiple regions
• Establish performance standards and support professional growth
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence

Provide Advanced Technical Leadership

• Serve as the primary technical expert for internal teams and customers
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and water quality issues
• Conduct field training and technical workshops for technicians and clients

Drive Operational Excellence

• Oversee daily service operations, technician scheduling, and deployment
• Manage installation and maintenance projects from planning through completion
• Develop and refine SOPs that improve efficiency, quality, and safety
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Strengthen Customer Relationships

• Act as the primary point of contact for service-related client needs
• Support preventative maintenance programs and service contract growth
• Provide technical insight to support business development initiatives

Guide Financial Performance

• Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets
• Track service revenue and operational expenses
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and service delivery

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 15+ years of experience in aquatics, service operations, or project management
• Deep technical knowledge of aquatic systems, pumps, motors, filtration systems, and water chemistry
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams
• Experience using ERP systems and project management tools
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
