Job Summary and Responsibilities
RN Transitional Fellowship - Labor and Delivery at Dignity Health Marian Regional Medical Center.
Start Date:
August 3, 2026. This fellowship is designed to assist nurses who have not worked in acute care, have had a break from acute care or are seeking to change specialties in nursing. Positions are limited; early application is encouraged.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patient well‑being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans. You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to focus on optimal patient outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, a patient‑first mindset, and a strong enthusiasm to help others.
Your sense of urgency and dedication are required in a fast‑paced environment.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide safe therapeutic care for patients.
- Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Utilize the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of patients.
- Registered Nurse with current California license.
- 1+ years of RN experience.
- Basic Life Support – CPR BLS within 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support – ACLS within 30 days.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program – NRP within 30 days.
- Additional certifications required based on department requirements.
- Must complete the entire program with a perfect attendance record.
- Must be able to work 3 days per week after completing the first 12 weeks of residency.
- Must be able to work or train on either night or day shifts, including holidays.
- Must agree to the terms and conditions of the program.

Pay Range$51.57 – $76.96 per hour
