In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Assistant Nurse Manager manages quality patient care through the nursing process, coordinates the plan of care with the health care team, assumes a visible leadership role in the unit, and fosters a work environment that values professional nursing practice, supports autonomy, encourages collaborative relationships, and promotes communication up and down the corporate chain of command.
Responsible for overseeing completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety reviews, CPR license renewals, and maintaining continuing education as required by hospital policy. May be assigned additional administrative duties.
Required Qualifications- 1 to 3 years of experience, including 1 to 2 years in an Emergency Department
- Current California Registered Nurse license (CA RN)
- Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS), within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support – ACLS, within 30 days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support – PALS, within 30 days
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
Marian Regional Medical Center, a 191‑bed acute‑care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Maria, California. The facility offers a full complement of services, including Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, cancer care, orthopedics, and stroke care.
Pay Range$58.68 – $89.32 per hour
