Job Summary And Responsibilities
As our Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner, you will help patients suffering from neurological or neurosurgical disorders manage their acute and chronic conditions so they can achieve better health through comprehensive, high-quality neurosurgical care. Every day you will perform neurosurgical consultations, round on inpatients, assist in surgery, and support both surgeon-led and independent clinics. You will be expected to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide extensive patient education and counseling.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the clinical training to perform neurosurgical evaluations and the collaborative skills to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.

CA (APRN:CA) - Effective communication
- Knowledge of the principles and skills of the nursing process to provide patient care and treatment.
- Critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Basic Computer skills – familiarity with Windows based software programs
